Pictured above is 'Kaijoe' from my first ever American Crested litter.
As with many other cavy fanatics, I can not recall a moment where there wasn't a piggy in the family, I grew up owning these adorable creatures and began to venture into the realm of the breeder in 2008, since then I have experienced the ups and downs of having baby pigglies and I must say the hobby is not for the faint hearted!
My main love is for the American Crested cavies and I will be constantly striving to produce show pigs and improve my lines in this beautiful breed, also being bred here on a small scale are Belteds, Peruvians and Coronets (and the occasional 'odds and ends' such as 'Pet' litters.)
Although my reason for breeding is to better my lines and produce exhibition cavies, they are ALL first and foremost my PETS, I love all my pigs dearly, whether I have 5 or 55, they are all a part of my family and I know each by name and personality. My shed full of 'piggy children' means the world to me and there is no place I feel more content.
It has taken me a lot of patience and effort to make my shed and it's inhabitants the way they are today but I would never have it any other way :)
Throughout my website there are wonderful photos taken by the incredibly talented Matha Fardoe, please find a link to her website on the 'Contact etc' page, her work is well worth looking at and I would highly reccommend her for photoshoots of your pets!
